The Zehnder Continuous Ventilation Fan ensures a continually fresh environment with a constant low level trickle and then boost linked to room usage. The low energy design cost as little as £1.50 to run for the entire year and is extremely quiet when operating. This can be kept running to ensure that mold and condensation is kept at bay. The fan is built with a Smart humidity and timer control leaving you to relax in the surroundings of your bathroom. The touch pad is located on the fan fascia for easy touch and it can also be activated by the light switch or smart humidity sensing. This item is suitable for wall or ceiling mounting with discharge through the external of the wall of soffit. The maximum ducting for this item is 6m.
The ZCV2 fan will ventilate rooms from 10 cubic metres up to 76 cubic metres. Therefore standard rooms sizes with a ceiling height of 2.4m it will ventilate rooms from 4m2 (2m x 2m) up to 30m2 (6m x 5m).
Why do i need to use a ventilation fan?
All modern bathrooms are generally air tight and may not have a window therefore the ventilation can be poor. If the room is a wet room for example then we would always advise that a fan is installed to ensure good circulation of air within the room. Opening a window will help prevent moisture. If there are no windows then the room will have poor ventilation this will encourage mould and metal accessories in your bathroom will start to tarnish-rust very quickly. Therefore a good ventilation system will help prolong the life of your bathroom accessories and provide a much healthier environment.
Can this fan be installed on the wall?
Yes it is suitable for wall & ceiling with a maximum ducting run of 6 x metres.
