Twin Finn Hutchinson Central Heating Designer Radiator - Black 9005

Twin Finn Hutchinson Central Heating Designer Radiator is ideal for bespoke installations and can be floor or wall mounted. The Hutchinson is compatible with a wet heating system. This bespoke radiator is well suited for heating areas that requires a bespoke feature wall, yet effective heating solutions.

Lead times are 7-10 working days. The Hutchinson is designed to be installed vertically on solid walls with the use of standard 1/2 BSP radiator valves. Can also be installed Horizontally if required.

Multiple heights available: <1000, 1100,1200, 1300, 1400, 1500, 1600, 1700, 1800, 1900 and 2000mm+ or any bespoke size on request.

This is often used in commercial premises, or areas where space is an issue, maximum width 260mm. Supplied with 3 x integral floor wall support fixing feet. The Finns are spaced evenly 10mm apart on average 90 Finns per meter length.

How long do the Twin Finns take to heat up?

The Twin Finns are a big chunk of metal and classed as Steam Tubes, with thicker gauge steel walls than standard radiators. However within 5 minutes the twin finn will reach the temperature set. Standard central heating radiators steel wall can be less than <1mm. Twin Finn walls are >3mm, so the heat transfer is slower than standard radiators.

Will the Twin Finn rust if not painted?

Yes all steel products will rust in any environment and very quickly in humid spaces!

What is the output of the Finns?

The Finns are rated at 550 watts per 1 meter length, this is equal to 1,727 BTU/hr!

What's type of paint can be used for the Finns?

Metal primer paint should always be applied first then finished with any heat resistant type radiator paint!

Are the Finns noisy when they are working?

Very silent, zero noise in operation!

What valves do I need for this radiator?

The Twin Finn radiators have standard 1/2 BSP fittings so all types of radiator valves are suitable. The Twin Finn is normally installed Vertically therefore you will need straight valves if your pipes are coming from the floor or corner valves if your pipes are coming from the wall.

Can you make bespoke Twin Finns?

Yes, the Twin Finns can be made to any Height, the connections can also be changed or moved on request. If you have a special design in mind we will certainly try to help.

Our Delivery Charges and times are explained:

Delivery Charges
All deliveries have a standard charge of £8.50 + VAT up to 20kg. Where stated, certain products are delivered FREE of charge (mainland UK only*). Check the description of the desired product and if it says free delivery then you will not be charged for delivery*

Extra Charges
Where the weight is over 20kg we reserve the right to charge more dependent on product type and delivery postcode, our customer service team will be in touch and inform you of any extra charges before we despatch.

Delivery Times
All products will have a delivery time stated in their description. Next Working Day - these products will be delivered Next Working Day if ordered before 12.00, or in certain circumstances up until 4:00 pm. Please call if you require a Next Working Day and we will try our best to get it to you. Certain products will state within 48hrs, within 3 Days or within 5 days. These products will be delivered within the time stated. If you require delivery on a certain day please put this in the comments and we will aim to deliver on that day.

Certain products such as radiators are delivered after 5 working days, when purchasing a radiator please put in the desired delivery date which is 5 working days after ordering. In some cases, stock permitting, we can get radiators out sooner. Please call or put in the customer comments if you need something urgently and we will try our best.
