Telica WiFi Oil Filled Radiator, available in three outputs 0.9kW, 1.5kW and 1.8kW.

 

The Electric Aluminium oil filled radiator by Delta Calor, out with the old and in with the new. This heater is one of the best selling Wi-Fi electric oil filled radiators within the UK.

The Telica can be programmed to turn on and off at different times of each day with a choice of temperature settings using the Wi-Fi mobile app. The Telica Wi-Fi radiator is one of the few radiators with high controls and integrated Wi-Fi Connection. This allows you to manage and program the radiator individually, by room or zone.

The radiators thermal conductivity means rapid achievement of the desired temperature which gives you excellent thermic comfort.

The advanced electronics by Delta Calor incorporates a weekly programming plus with a childproof lock, this disables the digital controls to prevent the temperature being altered. In addition there is also an open window sensor which detects a sudden drop in temperature. This results in the antifreeze function to be activated, temporarily stalling the heater to avoid any unnecessary energy expenditure. The unit is compliant with European EcoDesign standards which aims to reduce the consumption of electric heaters. The Telica also incorporates a Wireless (WiFi Thermostat) which can be controlled through the Deltacalor Confort app. This can be downloaded to any Smart Phone via the App Store.

The Deltacalor Confort App allows you to control the radiator in your home from where ever you are directly from your mobile phone. You can control them individually and even turn them on and off before you reach home.

Is the Telica easy to install?

With the mounting kit, you can attach to the wall in less than 15 minutes! If the Telica is pared up with Amazon Alex this will then allow the user to control the temperature simply with voice command!

Is the Telica energy efficient?

Yes, the Telica aluminum heating body is the most efficient alloy for quick heat distribution, far superior to cast iron or steel. The Telica also incorporates daily, weekly, monthly and annual power consumption metre. So for example you can check if any radiators are using more power than others this could indicated certain rooms that are not as well insulated. 

What are the mode settings on the Telica?

All Telica settings can be set via the LED Control Panel or via the app. The settings are Comfort, Eco, Frost and Standby, all settings are weekly programmable.

What languages are available on the settings?

The default setting is English, French, German, Italian and Spanish language settings also available.

Can this heater be controlled by Alexa?

Yes the heater can be controlled by Amazon Alex and Google assistance!

Can the radiators have different temperature settings in different rooms?

Yes, each and every radiator can have different temperature settings that can be set on the LED panel or controlled via your phone-app, Alex or Google assistance!

How does the child safety lock work?

The child safety lock is easily set by pressing down the "plus" and "minus" buttons simultaneously on the LED panel for 5 seconds. To unlock same procedure!

Can you install the Telica underneath a window cill?

Yes the Telica is 500mm in height, we recommend that the Telica should have 150mm (15cm) clearance above, below and to both sides, to allow natural circulation of the heat generated!

Are instructions on the panel available in different languages?

Yes, multiple languages available, simply select the "Flag - language" indicated on the panel you would like! 

How does the open window sensor work?

Basically the inbuilt sensor can detect a sudden - quick drop in temperature. This could be from a window being left open in the room. Any sudden drop in temperature will automatically send the radiator into frost protection mode @7C. This will also be indicated on the LED panel. 

How does the comfort mode work?

In this mode, temperature of the comfort setting will be followed all the time. On the screen saver (backlighting on), if you press the MINUS or PLUS key the set temperature for comfort starts flashing and you can change it. If you press the OK key or wait 15 seconds without taking any action, the value of the setting is confirmed. This setting will be used in AUTO mode during the high phase of the selected programme. From the screen saver (backlight on) if you press the OK key you can switch the display from the measured temperature to the set temperature If you press the ARROW key, the navigation menu will be displayed. If you press the ON/OFF key, the thermostat is deactivated. Preset value: 19°C. Interval: 10°C to 30°C

What does the eco mode do?

In the eco mode, the unit operates at a reduced configured temperature. On the screen saver (backlighting activated), if you press on MINUS or PLUS key, the reduced configuration temperature starts flashing and you can change it. If you press the OK key or wait 15 seconds without taking any action, the value of the setting is activated. This setting will be used in mode AUTO during the high phase of the selected programme showing the CREST LOGO. On the screen saver (backlight on), the key allows you to switch the display to from the measured temperature to the set temperature If you press the ARROW key, the navigation menu will be displayed. If you press the ON/OFF key, the thermostat is deactivated. Preset value: 17°C. Range: 5.0°C to 19°C

Can i install the Telica in a bathroom?

Yes the Telica is Class II - IP24 ( ideal for installation in wet rooms such as bathrooms)

How do I set up the WiFi Thermostat?

 

  1. Before starting the procedure, make sure your smartphone is in airplane mode and turn on the Wi-Fi connection only .
    In fact, if an internet connection is not detected, the phone's operating system can automatically redirect the smartphone to the 4G mobile data network.
  2. Follow the operations illustrated in the video tutorial 

 

How do I register with the Deltacalor Confort app?

 

Once you have filled in all the fields on the app you should receive a verification email at the address entered to confirm the registration. If no email is received:

  1. Check your SPAM or junk mail folder
  2. Try to enter the data again and verify that it is correct
  3. Some company emails can prevent the receipt of the confirmation email: it is advisable to use common email addresses (gmail, hotmail ...)

 

I have regularly connect my Wi-Fi radiator, but i do not see it in the app?

 

  1. It can be caused by running in the background on your smartphone: it is recommended to restart the application, log out and then log in again.
  2. If the problem is still not solved, repeat the setup procedure.

 

The Wi-Fi thermostat is reporting the wrong time?

 

  1. Once connected to the network, the Wi-Fi thermostat automatically sets itself to the Greenwich Mean Time zone.
  2. Follow the instructions in the manual to set the correct time zone in the appropriate section of the thermostat settings menu.

 

The radiator continues to heat even when it has reached the set temperature?

 

  1. The main feature of inertia radiators is the accumulation of heat; therefore it is normal for them to continue to emit heat for a certain period even when the thermostat signals that the desired temperature has been reached.
  2. If at the first start-up the radiator continues to heat for a long time even when the set temperature has been reached, it is advisable to interrupt the power supply from the radiator for at least one minute and then restart it.
  3. If the problem persists, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team.

All deliveries have a standard charge of £8.50 + VAT up to 20kg. Where stated, certain products are delivered FREE of charge (mainland UK only*). Check the description of the desired product and if it says free delivery then you will not be charged for delivery*

Extra Charges
Where the weight is over 20kg we reserve the right to charge more dependent on product type and delivery postcode, our customer service team will be in touch and inform you of any extra charges before we despatch.

Delivery Times
All products will have a delivery time stated in their description. Next Working Day - these products will be delivered Next Working Day if ordered before 12.00, or in certain circumstances up until 4:00 pm. Please call if you require a Next Working Day and we will try our best to get it to you. Certain products will state within 48hrs, within 3 Days or within 5 days. These products will be delivered within the time stated. If you require delivery on a certain day please put this in the comments and we will aim to deliver on that day.

Certain products such as radiators are delivered after 5 working days, when purchasing a radiator please put in the desired delivery date which is 5 working days after ordering. In some cases, stock permitting, we can get radiators out sooner. Please call or put in the customer comments if you need something urgently and we will try our best.
