How do I install the air vent and blanking plug?
Preparation:Ensure the heating system is turned off and the radiator is cool.
Removal:If replacing existing components, carefully unscrew the old air vent and blanking plug.
Installation:Apply PTFE tape to the threads of the new air vent and blanking plug to ensure a watertight seal. Screw them into the appropriate openings on the radiator and tighten securely but avoid overtightening.
Final Steps:Once installed, turn the heating system back on and check for any leaks.
