Unvented Multipoint Smart Technology Water Heater 3kW available in 30, 50, 80 and 100 litres
The Hyco Powerflow Smart unvented multipoint water heater, is a high performance mains pressure unit which can be used for many applications. The power required is 3kW therefore an ideal water heater if your power supplies are limited onsite.
Suitable for hand washing and dish washing where a number of hot water outlets are required such as kitchens, schools, restaurants, washrooms, healthcare environments and offices. The ideal solution for light industrial, commercial and light domestic hot water requirements.
They are available in the 30, 50, 80 and 100 litre capacities. The 30 litre is ideal for supplying 3-5 hand wash basins simultaneously, where the 50 litre will supply enough hot water for one bathtub. Please see our technical table wich will inform you of which capacities can be suitable for your requirements.
Installation could not be easier the PowerFlow can be sited at any convenient location above or below the outlets to be served, supplied with an unvented accessory kit which contains all you need for a full installation - keeping things simple.

I need to supply enough water for a hair salon what size water heater do I need?
The 30ltr powerflow will supply enough hot water to supply 3-4 washbasins. This will provide 15 minutes of constant hot water based on 2ltrs a minute. The reheat time for the 30ltr is 25 minutes!
What size Powerflow do I need to supply a busy kitchen sink?
For a large busy kitchen "pot washing" etc the 80ltr would be recommended with a reheat time of 65minutes!
What size do i need to supply a bath?
The 80ltr would provide enough hot water for 1 x bath
What size Powerflow do i need for a shower?
For one person only the 30ltr should be sufficient giving 7Â minutes of constant hot water, with a reheat time of 25minutes, for 2 people the 50ltr is recommended providing 12 minutes of constant hot water with a reheat time of 65minutes!
What size Powerflow do I need for a bath and shower to be in use simultaneously?
The 100ltr Powerflow is recommended reheat time 1 hour 20 minutes!
What power supply is required for the Powerflow?
The powerflow has a 3kW element installed and requires a 13A power supply 230V ~ 50Hz
Are spares available for the Powerflow?
Yes all major parts are available!
Can the Powerflow have the water supply from a header tank?
The powerflow requires a minimum water supply pressure of 1Bar minimum. This is equivalent to the water storage tank being 10m above the Powerflow. Please check with a competent person.

Helpful Information:Â
Installation:
Must be wall mounted vertically with inlet/ outlet connections at base. Allow at least 500mm below and 200mm above the heater to facilitate future maintenance. Access to the thermal cut-out and element is located at base of unit.
Unvented Accessory Kit:
Supplied kit must be fitted.  Contains expansion vessel with fixing bracket (5L for PF30S & PF50S, 8L for PF80S & PF100S), inlet group, flexible hose and 2 tundishes.Â
Plumbing:
Must be installed by a suitably qualified person. Minimum water pressure 1 bar. Maximum water pressure to pressure reducing valve 12 bar. Working water pressure 3 bar.
Water Connection:
Inlet/outlet connection 1/2†BSP male. (100mm apart centre to centre). Fittings required (not supplied): 2 x 15mm compression to 1/2†BSP female adapter.
Electrical Connection:
Installation must comply with current IET regulations. The product should be connected to the fixed wiring of the property via a suitably rated isolating switch with a contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles.

All deliveries have a standard charge of £8.50 + VAT up to 20kg. Where stated, certain products are delivered FREE of charge (mainland UK only*). Check the description of the desired product and if it says free delivery then you will not be charged for delivery*
Extra Charges
Where the weight is over 20kg we reserve the right to charge more dependent on product type and delivery postcode, our customer service team will be in touch and inform you of any extra charges before we despatch.
Delivery Times
All products will have a delivery time stated in their description. Next Working Day - these products will be delivered Next Working Day if ordered before 12.00, or in certain circumstances up until 4:00 pm. Please call if you require a Next Working Day and we will try our best to get it to you. Certain products will state within 48hrs, within 3 Days or within 5 days. These products will be delivered within the time stated. If you require delivery on a certain day please put this in the comments and we will aim to deliver on that day.
Certain products such as radiators are delivered after 5 working days, when purchasing a radiator please put in the desired delivery date which is 5 working days after ordering. In some cases, stock permitting, we can get radiators out sooner. Please call or put in the customer comments if you need something urgently and we will try our best.
